Rich in both protein and fiber, green split peas can make a delicious hearty soup or a mouthwatering stew. Blend with chickpeas to make an extra wholesome hummus or add them to you salad for an extra wholesome salad!
Rinse and drain the peas. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil for every cup of peas. Reduce the heat and cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until desired consistency is reached.
